ROLE
Social Specialists are integral consultants and executioners within the agency. We are searching for a Junior Social Specialist with a proactive nature to join our social team at BBH. The key role will be to own the channel management of a global client and implement our online social strategy, in collaboration with the broader strategy, account & creative teams.
Your typical day will include content publishing and channel management across several projects while ensuring a strong brand presence and visibility across various platforms for a leading global brand.
The key responsibilities of a Junior Social Specialist are:
- Social Operations: Adopt processes and work closely with the strategy, creative and accounts teams to efficiently deliver and shape best-in-class work.
- Clients: Demonstrate strong social capabilities to cement a strong relationship that is built on trust and respect with our clients.
- The Work: Manage social channels with eagle eyes, provide support for strategic content planning and conduct monthly reporting with actionable recommendations to clients regularly.
- The Platforms: Have a knack for unearthing platform trends and insights through a deep understanding of social content trends, features and user habits across each unique social platform.
Apart from the key responsibilities, we’re looking for a social superstar who can adapt easily to our strong culture that emphasises collaboration, creativity and innovation. This means having a great attitude, open communication and creatively challenging a mindset of mediocrity.
EXPERIENCE
Socially savvy, wickedly talented, optimistic team player with:
- Relevant experience (ideally 1-3 years) in social media campaigns and accounts.
- Relevant experience managing multiple social channels for regional or global brands.
- Relevant experience in providing perspective on paid media approach in collaboration with agency partners, e.g.: media agency.
- Relevant experience in reporting, and data analytics to measure the success of social media content on a campaign or always-on basis.
- Relevant experience in social listening and sentiment tracking to inform future content and gain a better understanding of the brand’s audience and social market space.
SKILLS
The candidate must possess/be:
- Knowledge of tools (for example, Business Manager, Sprinklr, Locowise, Netbase etc.) and experience working across major social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube.
- Analytical and able to study large sets of data for actionable insights.
- Resourceful, organised, curious, creative and self-motivated.
- A hybrid thinker capable of operating in both strategic and creative capacities.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Fluent in English.
- Social & creative ideation are a plus.
