We are recruiting a Business Controller to support our Global Operations team, which is a key position to secure the financial success of the business, maybe this could be your next challenge?
About The Role
This role will be working very close to the business, and we expect you to provide strong financial leadership to the operations organization. Your main objective would be to contribute to continuously developing and professionalize our operations locally and globally, to identify opportunities and improve the global set-up. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with different functions both locally and in our German site in Nieder-Olm, and since Atos Medical is part of Coloplast we expect the role to liaise with and collaborate with relevant Coloplast functions as well.
Key responsibilities
Oversee the financial performance of Operations, Innovations and RA/QA, to perform monthly/quarterly performance updates to Global Leadership Team on key KPI: s and Operational result, and work closely with various managers to drive the site to meet or exceed targets.
Perform monthly closings and analysis, and reporting the actual results against
targets and forecast.
Facilitate the quarterly financial forecast process and collaborate with managers across operations, innovation, and RA/QA to reflect the expected business performance, related to CoGS, SG&A and Capex.
Owning and updating the product costing model and continuously working to improve it.
Owning the investment framework relating to the operations and innovation functions including Capex and approval process, including providing financial support when developing business cases for decision support.
Providing other financial support within production, supply chain, purchasing, QA/RA and Innovations but occasionally also for other parts of the organization.
Ensure compliances and adherences of Atos Medical’s internal control and accounting policies
The role is a full-time position preferably located at our production and Innovation site in Hörby. We have a hybrid set-up, and most employees work from home or our office in Malmö 1-2 days per week.
About you
We are looking for someone who gets motivated by working close to the business and who is strong at building relationships. You do this by being good at communicating and not being afraid of speaking your mind and challenging the business, when needed. In this line of work, it almost goes without saying but of course you have a strong analytical side and are good at organizing, structure and prioritize your work, if you also have experience of working in SAP that would be an advantage.
We believe in hire for potential and train for skills, with that said we do believe that you need to check these boxes to be successful in the role:
You hold a University degree (B.SC./M.Sc.) in business or engineering or equivalent working experience
3-5 years of experience within Business Controlling preferably within Production and/or Supply Chain
You are fluent in Swedish and English
Open to working and operating in a changing/dynamic environment.
